want to begin tracking the scriptures we are memorizing for our small group on my blog:
"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each one should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others."
"Come follow me, Jesus said, and I will make you fishers of men. At once they left their nets and followed him."
"This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it."
"Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe."
and this weeks......
"Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance character; and character hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts, by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us."
it has been a rewarding experience to memorize and ponder scripture each week, and then come together and share.
