tutoring

tutoring has turned out to be a real exercise in patience. the little 9 year old i tutor on wednesday nights is smart, just suffers from "can't sit still" syndrome. this is my diagnosis, of course and it is not professional. so i am attempting to teach her the importance of "slowing down" to understand what she is doing. the fact is, i see a lot of myself in this little girl. i am not sure if that fact is a good think or not!
