thunder over louisville was last night. we watched from the comfort of our home. someday we want to venture to downtown and "take it all in." last night just wasn't in the cards. it was cold and windy. now begins the 3 weeks of celebrating before the derby. it was a very odd thing to experience when we first moved here, but i am beginning to enjoy it!! nothing like the build up for a 90 second race 3 weeks away!!
